Blended is an app aimed at reducing the conflict of co-parenting finances. Thought Matter partnered with Blended to build an app with a meaningful brand story and strong visual language. The stylized ‘b’ logo fittingly suggests one half of a percentage symbol. Throughout the app, the “/” symbol serves as a visual anchor and reminder of shared responsibility.

I put together a bold, eye-catching logo animation and supporting motion elements that match the strength of the brand. The idea of a pie chart inspired the logo animation, tying into the theme of percentages and cost-splitting. The wordmark is animated for maximum versatility—it can scale from a tiny phone screen to a massive billboard, and can be adapted to smoothly shift between short and long blocks of text.
